What does a regulated cross-institution traineeship workflow require before, during, and after mobility in terms of agreements, signatures, and certificates?

Key findings
(1) The Erasmus+ Learning Agreement for Traineeships is meant to make preparation transparent and ensure recognition in the degree after a successful traineeship abroad. (2) Before mobility, page 1 must cover trainee, sending HEI, and receiving organisation; all three parties must agree; much data may already live in a beneficiary module. (3) Signing may use scanned or electronic signatures where rules allow—not necessarily paper originals. (4) After mobility, the receiving organisation should issue a Traineeship Certificate (within five weeks of completion per the published guidelines); the sending institution then recognises and records results, typically within five weeks of receiving that certificate. (5) The Commission encourages limiting paper for exchanges, accepting email / digital signatures where permitted.
